We are a small, personable group that needs that special blend of person that takes their work seriously, but can laugh out loud to keep the day moving.
This position partakes in several activities throughout the operation of our company.
Some bookkeeper essentials are:
-Enter payables daily ; cut checks twice a month, -Prepare billings; we bill 3-5 projects, once a month, -Strong understanding of accounting, balancing, producing reports, and reconciliation, -Answer phones, manage a variety of daily administration activities, and help out the team.
We use Quick Books for our accounting needs and AIA billing forms for our contract billings; it will be important that you are proficient with both of these.
Experience with construction accounting will shorten the learning curve.
We are going on 40 years in business and our office is located in the country with a blue jean atmosphere.
We have a great seasoned staff and offer a warm welcome.
Hours are 8-5, M-F with competitive benefits.
This is an important position and needs a person that is very organized, works well with others, has a strong work ethic, is productive, positive, and above all, honest.
A sense of humor is a must! 2 plus years of bookkeeping/accounting and QuickBooks experience preferred.
This is a full time, work from work position! Compensation will be based on experience and these benefits are offered:
